Officially opened in June 2000 the 1000 sq. m. facility will offer a full range of smoke and heat detectors, audible visual warning devices and accessories for the Russian and CIS markets.
     The company joins the other manufacturing plants in the USA, Mexico, Italy and China, reflecting the corporate strategy of combining world-standard design and manufacturing technology with a strong local presence. This formula has been successfully used to grow the business throughout the USA, Europe and the Far East making System Sensor the world's largest manufacturer of smoke detectors.
     The Russian company also continues the well-established and successful strategy of building partnership alliances with major fire company partners who share a commitment to high quality and excellent service. Already, strong links have been forged with leading Russian and CIS based Fire and Security companies.
     The Russian and CIS markets are poised for dramatic growth as infrastructure investment increases. System Sensor Fire Detectors is itself a significant part of this investment, manufacturing sophisticated fire detectors that will save lives and protect commercial and industrial property against damage by fire.
     System Sensor detectors, imported from the main European manufacturing centre in Trieste, Italy, have been available on the Russian market for some years.
